In nanoimprint lithography, a surface oxidation process is needed to produce an effective poly(dimethylsiloxane) coating that can be used as an anti-adhesive surface of template molds.
The high-resolution SEM image in Figure 3e shows that nearly 98% pore filling ratio on the top surface of template was achieved at this location in the template.
The typical procedure is that the template is coated by either direct surface reaction utilizing special functional groups on the core or controlled precipitation of inorganic precursors on the surface of template to induce coating, followed by the removal of template core through calcination or solvent dissolution [19, 20, 21].

The quantity of moisture on the surface of templates controlled the gelation of HA slurry prepared by dissolving powder into dilute chitin solution, so that the stripe pattern was formed on the pore wall after the HA slurry was solidified and the sugar sphere template was leached.
