"What it can do is improve its own suppression regimes and make them open as a model to the states, and it can also pursue this via the [Council of Australian Governments] system – and that is the undertaking the commonwealth has given me".
Optical observations, including a schlieren method, revealed that two distinct flame stabilization and suppression regimes, i.e., (I) rim-attached and (II) wake-stabilized, appeared as the mean air velocity was increased.
The contribution of each driving force is assessed to identify five regimes of lithium growth: thermodynamic suppression regime, incubation regime, tip-controlled growth regime, base-controlled growth regime, and mixed growth regime, in agreement with the experimental scientific literature.
In the suppression regime for thinner AlAs layers, for higher intensities of illumination the photogeneration of holes is more pronounced leading to a faster subsequent passivation (and reaching of the ESE limit with time).
Furthermore, as shown in Fig. 4, the onset of ESE changes for different etching speeds: the higher the HF concentration, the higher the intensity needed for suppression, while the thicker the AlAs layer, the more abrupt the etching behavior transition from the "suppression regime" to the "illumination independent regime".
In the absence of fire or under active fire-suppression regimes, the forest canopy composition changes from a fire-tolerant post oak canopy to faster-growing fire-intolerant species such as softwoods and mesophytic plants (Abrams, 1992).
The final plank of the deal is that the federal government will push for states and territories to consider reforming suppression order regimes to ensure they: Specify the topic to which they relate and only suppress such information that is necessary to achieve the order's purpose.
Asked whether that was too weak a bargain, Leyonhjelm said the commonwealth could not bind the states to modify their suppression order regimes.
"Even with all the executions and suppression, the regime has not been able to get rid of us," she said.
The suppression in regime I occurred after immediate detachment of the flame at agent arrival, followed by blowout of the flame in the shear layer downstream.
The suppression in regime II took place as a result of consecutive extinction of the flames in the shear layer and the recirculation zone, and the latter flame is controlling.
