The phrase "supposed misunderstanding" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when referring to a misunderstanding that is assumed or believed to exist, often without clear evidence.
Example: "There seems to be a supposed misunderstanding regarding the project's deadline."
Alternatives: "alleged misunderstanding" or "purported misunderstanding."
The supposed misunderstandings don't end there.
