Among the lessons learned are the potential uses of GIS, which include detecting spatially and temporally overlapping projects, supporting integrated planning, and improving communication among functional groups within a state highway agency.
Just like the PD required to support the engineering design and project-based models as discussed by Glancy et al. (2014), our interviews suggested that PD supporting integrated STEM must include constructivist, inquiry-based, and project-based pedagogy.
This will lead to multiplier effect: the targeted rural development projects will then contribute to increasing climate resilience and supporting integrated crop/livestock/tree systems.
In summary, CBR projects should seek to prioritise and support integrated education as a key part of their work.
