If we allowed a fine-tuning of these parameters, we can quantitatively fit the experimental data (see the simulation shown in Fig. S1 in Supporting Information, which we only changed one parameter, the concentration of Gln).
The membrane-bound hydrogenase of N. caesariensis is a close relative of the same hydrogenase of R. eutropha (Fig. S4, supporting information), which is evidence that this bacterium and the Roseovarius strains are able to perform aerobic hydrogen oxidation in marine environments.

All of the fluorescence images were taken with a confocal laser scanning microscope Fluoview FV1000 (Olympus) except for the image in Figure S7R in Supporting Information, which was taken with an Axioplan2 light microscope (Zeiss).
While they express comparable levels of total tubulin, FoxM1b Tg Arf−/− cells contained much lower levels of MT after the tubulin dilution (Fig S3C and D of Supporting Information), which is consistent with the increased expression of Stathmin.
Use of the docking program necessitated removal of the 2Fe-2S Rieske cluster (see page 1 of the Supporting Information), which limits our ability to compute a distance for ET. The model nonetheless is consistent with a competitive binding model supported by ET and steady state turnover presented here and a recent X-ray crystal structure.
