The proportion of TIA/minor stroke patients for whom a subsequent MRI was requested after an initial CT varied considerably (range 0 60%; see online supplementary figure S1), the waiting time for MR after CT being 1 month in about half of centres (47%).
In particular, the number of active electrodes and the changes in spiking activity both increased over time for each experimental condition: PDL (Supplementary Fig. 4a), MaxGel (Supplementary Fig. 5a), and bECM (Supplementary Fig. 6a).
The optimal conditions are a short exposure time, permitting the rapid acquisition of z-stacks over time (for our equipment; Supplementary Fig. 1 online).
Due to the way Bismark determines uniquely best alignments, it is less likely to report non-unique alignments; however, this comes at the cost of a slightly increased run time (for details see Supplementary Material).
The results were similar for other pairings, and across time (see supplementary file for details).
Namely, a supplementary protocol for the time synchronization between IMD and programmer should be provided.
All criteria are defined recursively and globally computed for all potential phylotypes in O(n) time (see Supplementary Material for formal definitions and algorithms).
There were no age-related-differences among age groups in terms of performance on unrelated lures (see Supplementary Material for response time analysis).
The excellent scan-rescan reproducibility (Fig. 2) demonstrates that our R1 estimates are robust, showing that quantitative in vivo maps can be obtained in only 25min of scan time (see Supplementary Information for further discussion and description of R1 mapping).
Based on the recent genome-wide analyses (Newman et al. 2005; Ranz et al. 2007), we estimated that recently duplicated regions on average underwent inversions ca. 67 times more frequently than the remaining regions for human, and that the rate disparity was ca. 162 times for D. melanogaster (supplementary materials and methods, Supplementary Material online).
