Active RTS were detected visually while viewing the image sequence on the fast setting which causes progressive change to appear as feature motion (Supplementary Videos 1–9).
We thus investigated the effects of temperature through a breathing mechanism where the adjacent organic linkers slightly open the pore windows in a breathing motion (Supplementary Fig. 43h).
To demonstrate the motion (Supplementary Movie 4), we use the subunit a5 and a′5 pair as an example, which appear to have minimum motion among the subunits.
We find a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.005 (hence, p-value ≈ 1), between entropy increases and motion (see Supplementary Figure S1).
Using frame-by-frame movies, all clinical data were inspected for motion visually (supplementary movies S 1 and S 2).
The interactions of E5.71 R13.62 R/I10.33, are abolished in the absence of substrate (Supplementary Fig. 4b,c); R13.62 links motions of the inner ring to the outer ring and into the neighbouring protomer.
This produces a clear perception of (apparent) object motion in humans (Supplementary Video 1).
For this, the migration of shIP3R(1,3)A- and shIP3R(1,3 C-expressing DCs was analyzed in a micro-fluidic device that confines the cells under a 5-μm-high ceiling but allows their free motion in 2D (Supplementary Fig S3I).
In experiment 2 (where dot speeds were not precisely matched between the 2 conditions), there was no significant response difference between these 2 motion types (see Supplementary Fig. S3).
Regarding measurement of left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), a cumulative distribution plot showed close agreement between the semiquantitative two-dimensional visual estimate, which had fewest missing values, and other methods of measuring LV systolic function (Simpson's biplane, M mode and 16 segment wall motion score) (see supplementary figure 1 in the online appendix).
The stop-motion animation in Supplementary Movie 1 shows the local nature of the missing or phantom voxels more clearly; another stop motion reconstruction is shown in Supplementary Fig. S4.
