The principles are simple: for children to come to school, the school needs to meet minimum basic standards such as water and sanitation, tables and benches, adequate provision of text books, safe learning environment, improved management and supervision, higher quality of education with better trained teacher and improved supervision.
Such policy reflects an 'agreed aim and definition of supervision; a consensual understanding of what constitutes effective clinical supervision; high-quality training for clinical supervisors; and, clear implementation mechanisms and a united model of clinical supervision' ([ 5] p 464).
For instance, depending on their nationality and sports speciality, athletes may differ enormously with regard to their access to care, supervision, and a high quality medical and technological environment [ 5, 13].
And with the huge pressures on services at the moment, finding workers to provide high quality supervision is increasingly difficult.
However, this diversity is in agreement with the reality of daily practice and workers in the control group will receive regular supervision to ensure a high quality of care.
Practitioners should consider using competence frameworks from the relevant treatment manuals, and for all interventions they should: -Receive regular, high quality supervision -Use routine outcome measures and involve the person with depression in reviewing treatment efficacy -Monitor and evaluate adherence to treatment and practitioner competence.
These themes were broadly around the importance of the supervisory relationship, the impact of clinical supervision and the enablers of and barriers to high quality clinical supervision.
Therefore, gaining an understanding of what high quality clinical supervision is, and how it is best put into practice, is the first step in developing supervision policy [ 5].
A number of enablers of and barriers to high quality clinical supervision were also identified.
The interviews explored the enablers of and barriers to high quality clinical supervision in this group.
This study identified a number of factors that were perceived to be associated with high quality clinical supervision.
