Since her death and the publication of two superb volumes of her correspondence, One Art and Words in Air (letters between her and Lowell) it has grown ever more secure.
In the superb concluding volume of a two-volume biography, Holmes recounts the poet's troubled later years...and in doing so has given us a life of extraordinary depth and dimension.
