For instance, 6 = 5 + 1 only (we don't allow 3 + 2 + 1 or 3 + 3), and 20 = 13 + 5 + 2. Given any n, it's not difficult to find the appropriate breakdown, by using a greedy algorithm: first peel off the largest possible Fibonacci number as one summand, and repeat for what remains, until you are left with the smallest Fibonacci component.
For any \(A\), and any \(B\) whose probability is neither 0 nor 1 : \[ p(A) = p(A\mid B p(B) + p(A\mid \neg B p(\neg B).\] Proof: As in the proof of Conjunction Costs Probability: \[ p(A) = p(A \wedge B) + p(A \wedge \neg B)\] Applying the Conjunction Rule to each summand yields: \(\qed\) Theorem (Bayes' Theorem).
This particular system does not use the I summand, and the inr and inl just code whether the " +.5 " appears on the right of the equation.

A given mereological sum, z, of a part of x and a part of y will be a part of $x + y$, while z need not be itself a part of either summands (SA: 36).
Moreover, it seems entirely implausible to assume that some operators — sums and products of operators that are associated with well-defined observables — are themselves not associated with well-defined observables, even if they mathematically inherit exact values from their summands or factors.
