There are several methods that can be used [ 13- 15], but there are two main approaches suitable for valuation, which attach value either to the outcome or to the time used as an input [ 16].
Different methods and methodological approaches suitable to a valuation of recreation based on various principles and criteria (preference and non-preference methods, cost-based methods, revenue-based methods, and direct and indirect methods) are analyzed.
These interviews indicated that there were no issues with the understanding of the health states and were thus suitable for use in the valuation exercise.
