Most physicists believe that the dark matter particles have not yet been detected directly, although some experiments to find it have reported suggestive results.

There are suggestive results for decreased risks of cleft occurrence and recurrence with folic acid supplements taken at preconception and during pregnancy with a stronger evidence for higher than lower doses in preventing recurrence.
Other nominal suggestive results (p < 0.01) were identified, including NPY1R (Neuropeptide Y receptor type 1), BDKRB1 (bradykininnin receptor), SLC5A3 (Sodium/myo-inositol cotransporter), CCL26 (C-C motif chemokine 26) and GRM1 (Metabotropic glutamate receptor 1) (Table 3).
With adjustment for known prognostic factors, suggestive results were observed among rarer histological subtypes; poorer survival was associated with minor alleles at SNPs in RGS1 (clear cell, rs10921202, p=2.7×10 -5)), LRRC32 and TNFRSF18/TNFRSF4 (mucinous, rs3781699, p=4.5×10 -4), and rs3753348, p=9.0×10 -4), respectively), and CD80 (endometrioid, rs13071247, p=8.0×10 -4)).
