In order to study the sensitivity of each experiment i's success rate to variation in a parameter j, we sorted all parameter sets according to parameter j and divided them into 100 bins of 10000 parameter sets each.

Here we discuss experimental design, statistical power, success rate, sources of variation and potential confounding factors.
For patients treated for different disease (CLI or intermittent claudication), technical success rate show a large variation.
Due to variations in success rate of the genotype analyses, the number of analyzed individuals differs to some extent between the different polymorphisms.
Also, we see that as we increase the embedding budget, the variation in success rate between processing budgets decreases, suggesting that a larger processing budget does allow for more flows, but most of those new flows go above the embedding budget.
By analysing the 30 × 106 parameter matrix and the corresponding 28 × 106 result matrix we studied the sensitivity of the success rate of each experiment to variation in a given parameter by computing success rates in bins of sorted parameter sets, and used the sum of absolute deviations from the overall success rate to range the parameters according to sensitivity.
