As underground space scarcity grows in our cities due to the increasing demands for utility services, subsurface facilities such as utility tunnels are becoming more efficient in providing the required infrastructure.
Uncontrolled sand production not only poses the risk of well failure, but also can cause extensive damage to surface and subsurface facilities such as tubing, pumps, valves and pipelines.
