However, Time Warner Cable lost 191,000 television subscribers in the second quarter, somewhat more than analysts were predicting.

Sky signed up 80,000 subscribers in the first three months of the year.
As it had previously reported, Sirius added 257,000 subscribers in the fourth quarter and ended the year with 18.8 million.
The company said on Thursday that it had gained 1.1 million customers, including 685,000 contract subscribers, in the second quarter.
