In this study, latitudes of all Japanese prefectures, which were determined by the geographical center of each prefecture, and prefecture-level data from HFMD cases in Japan were collected online during the period from the 1st week of 2008 to the 52nd week of 2014 (a total of 365 weeks), from the National Institute of Infectious Diseases NIIDD).
In many regional studies, latitude is a common covariate with depth.
The study by Mallol et al [ 25] that included three cities in Colombia Bogota, Calii, Barranquilla), did not find a positive associations between asthma and the socioeconomic variables studied (latitude, altitude, national gross income, poverty).
Exceptions were young deciduous trees in the lowest studied latitudes, where growth decline was not evident.

The Semrakalwana village (=4.31 km2), located in Tons river basin is considered as a study area (latitude 25o16′31N and longitude 82o4′55E) for this present study (Fig. 1).
The concentration of chloride in precipitation of a coastal area, around Amasomma (not in study area, latitude 4°58′9 N longitude 6°6′35 E) is 0.47 mg/l.

The environmental variables (i.e., auxiliary information) used in this study include latitude (lat), longitude (long), elevation (elev), distance from water (d w ), and relative topography (RT1, RT3, and RT5).
Apart from earthquake-related study, mid-latitude trough itself needs further detailed study (Rodger et al. 1992; Yizengaw and Moldwin 2005).
