Our previous READY-Girls (CD-ROM and book) intervention studies were for teens with type 1 diabetes and demonstrated cost-effectiveness and short-term (3 months) efficacy on reproductive health knowledge, intentions, beliefs, social support, and discussion with health care providers (HCPs) (3), with only some changes being sustained over 6 months (3, 6).
