The council is scrapping a two-tier structure of directors and heads of service and moving to a system of chief officers and a chief executive.
They have recognisable corporate structures with boards of directors, chief executives, chief financial officers and sundry other chiefs; and they publish financial reports with carefully presented accounts and dull letters from the bosses.
The company is run on a flat management structure, with no board of directors, just heads of department.
The public dispute between the two began last week, when Citadel sent the online brokerage firm a scathing letter demanding that the company explore a potential sale, change the structure of the board of directors and fire two of those directors.
