The second part of our validation regards the modular structure of the collaboration networks in terms of communities.
In this paper we studied the topological structure of the collaboration data in different scientific communities, constructed from data from arXiv.
Gleiser and Danon [7] studied the topology and the community structure of the collaboration network of Jazz musicians, uncovering the presence of communities based on the locations of the bands correlated with the racial segregation between the musicians.
