The structure of the conjugation (CS-FA) was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy.
All 40 putative genes of the pKF3-70 conjugation region had homologues in R100 or plasmid F. Interestingly, five genes (traC, traG, traI, traD and traX) were even conserved across incompatibility groups, implying that they might be responsible for the basic structure of the conjugation machinery.
The latter authors determined the structure of the conjugation product to be 3-β d-glucopyranosyl-4-deoxynivalenol.
The discussion is held from the viewpoint of design and structure of the polymer backbone and biodegradable spacer between a polymer and drug, structure and methods of attachment of the employed drugs to the carrier and structure and methods of conjugation with targeting moieties.

The reason for such high mobility is related to the carbon structure of sp x conjugation.
We investigate the effect of conjugation structure and molecular conformations (planar vs. helical) on electrochemical properties such as electronic conductivity, ionic conductivity, and electrode kinetics.
Such low nutrients, temperatures not >25 °C and host extracts, in particular α-tocopherol, have been shown to stimulate production of conjugation structures in Microbotryum (Day et al., 1981).
In the current study, there appeared to be a very strong source of variation that was independent of mating-pheromone sequence; specifically, the induction of conjugation structures was significantly correlated between alternate mating types of the same species.
Nevertheless, compatible isogamous gametes in fungi do not necessarily exhibit identical roles in cell fusion, and in particular the initiation of conjugation structures can be a behavior specific to only one mating type (Day, 1976).
