One individual (CDRS 40) falls distinctly within the Floreana parental q-value distribution, with five others exhibiting strong Floreana ancestry within the Española-Floreana F1 hybrid distribution (Figure 2).
Such condition precludes the use of CHIT1 as a disease biomarker in South American populations with strong ethnic ancestry.
