Illumina microarray has demonstrated a nonsignificant increase in the DIO3 expression in imipramine-treated animals over this measure in stressed drug-naive group (P = 0.137; t = 1.557; df = 18; t-test; Figure 3(f)).
Repeated exposure of IMO and stress-naive rats to the HB every other day resulted in progressively lower levels of activity/exploration in both groups, whereas the ACTH and corticosterone responses were basically maintained intact over the days.
Previous exposure to IMO did not alter any behavior during the first exposure to the HB (5 min), but elicited a greater ACTH response as compared to stress-naive rats.
In contrast the administration of the CB2-R antagonist AM630 reduced alcohol intake (P = 0.08) in stressed but had no effect in the alcohol consumption in non-stressed naive mice.
