The association would be overestimated if men with sedentary jobs were less physically active during their leisure-time than men with strenuous occupations.
Despite the beneficial effects of employment on income, mothers who work in strenuous occupations, including those that involve prolonged standing, are at heightened risk for both preterm delivery and having LBW babies [ 53].
