The second volume, "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets," is quite different: secular, topical, political....The strangest volume is the third, "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," the psychological installment, featuring a pack of demons — operating at Voldemort's bidding — who are the most frightening monsters in the series so far.
