Re "His Perks and Power Gone, Clinton Faces Storm Alone" (front page, March 1): While there may have been only a flicker of applause when Bill Clinton took his seat unannounced at the AIDS fund-raiser at the Apollo Theater, there was much excitement before that backstage as he spoke to nearly everyone.
"[It] looked like a big as hell shooting star and lit up the beach then about a minute later a big bang and a shockwave came over the water and shook my car little bit was a pritty (sic) awesome experience," he posted on the Higgins Storm Chasing Facebook page.
