Our hypothesis is that the stock aggregations and their spatial stability at three levels: whole radioactive aggregates, highly radioactive surfaces, and their centres of gravity, are due to the coupling between the gregarious behaviour of ants and individual levels of storage.
Subindicators evaluated the physical quality, chemical fertility, organic matter stocks, aggregation and morphology of the upper 5 cm of soil and the biodiversity of soil macrofauna.
Inventory aggregation, also called Risk Pooling, is one of the most efficient ways to reduce the level of safety stocks thereby reducing inventory across the supply chain.

During migration, the vast majority of juvenile salmon from southern and central BC stocks funnel past aggregations of hundreds of thousands of auklets that breed on colonies scattered along BC's Central and North coast (Tucker et al. 2009, 2012).
