A study was undertaken to understand the interaction of an electron beam in the resist stack, leading to the optimization of the process for high aspect ratio structures in a single step of exposure and development.
As in our previously published studies of lung cancer [ 22– 24], the occupation and industry coding was reviewed and upgraded to the more precise 7-digit Canadian Classification and Dictionary of Occupation (CCDO) codes [ 25] which were used in the subsequent steps of the exposure assessment.
We show that when this model is applied to a permanent step change of exposure and integrated over time, one obtains the corresponding population-averaged LE change.
The radiation exposure for the hand was 87.5 mAs distributed over seven grating steps for 5 s of exposure per step.
In the first step of the exposure assessment process, we created GIS layers depicting the subject residences, water sources, pipe characteristics, and nodes, that represented points of water consumption along the pipe.
Like traditional risk assessment, it includes the steps of hazard identification, exposure assessment and risk characterisation [ 13, 14, 84].
The illustrative examples (Sect. 4) compare results obtained from both the complete and reduced models and study the effects of the time-discretization steps for different types of exposure conditions.

This inhibition occurs in a two-step process: within hours of exposure to the dual PI3K/mTOR inhibitor NVP-BEZ 235, TNBC cells responded with upregulation of insulin-receptor signaling and with its downstream effector IRS1 directly activating Janus kinase 2 (Jand) and its substrate, the transcription factor signal transducer and activator of transcription 5 (STAT5).
The whole procedure from the bone marrow harvest to finally purified cells can be done within 1-1.5 hours and does not require technically challenging steps or exposure of the cells to potentially noxious substances other than a short incubation in hypotonic erythrocyte lysis buffer.
