We tested the effect of median stem diameter, canopy height, stem density, basal area and tree species density on damage.
The main objective was to identify factors responsible for high SGW in the former genotype by assessing contribution of source, sink, current photosynthesis assimilate, pre-anthesis stem reserves, canopy temperature and genes associated with the grain development in wheat.
With regards to the distribution of porosity with height, an evenly distributed porosity of stem and canopy resulted in the longest protected area, i.e. the area where the wind-velocity reduction is more than 50%.
