This week the Scottish Borders have been awakened from a long slumber as the first new domestic railway in Britain built for more than a century opened from Edinburgh's Waverley station, extending 30 miles deep into the Scottish Borders.
This station extends to the northern hemisphere the so called "South American VLF Network".
The analysis of the SPECT images was performed at the gamma camera work station (Extended Brilliance Workspace, EBW, Philips).
Simon Walton, who chairs the group, said its research and lobbying and the intervention of MSP Claudia Beamish were instrumental in seeing Tweedbank station extended to cope with 12-coach charter trains.
The tracks were 22 feet below the street level, and the station below street level was a brick passenger station extending to the Roseville Avenue bridge at Seventh Avenue.
During its lifetime, the branch was the subject of a number of unrealised extension proposals that would have seen the tunnels through the station extended southwards, usually to Waterloo.
The FM range of the radio station extends as far North as Hanover, Pennsylvania, South around 15 miles beyond Fredericksburg, Virginia, West to 5 miles East of Front Royal, Virginia and East to Cambridge, Maryland.
