We performed a simplified clinical pathways analysis to identify the proportion of HSA errors at each step of the CCM algorithm (assessment, classification and treatment) for consultations where a child was given a gold-standard classification of fever, cough with fast breathing or diarrhoea, adapted from studies in Benin and Angola (Osterholt et al. 2009; Rowe et al. 2009).
