Swing speed, stance duration, stride length and body speed of all paws correlated with dopamine depletion severity (Table 1).
The following parameters were measured: average speed, body speed for each paw, swing duration, stance duration, stride length, print area and cadence (number of steps per second).
Stance duration, stride length, cadence, and speed of progression were also included in the cluster analysis.
The reduced step length and prolonged stance duration that we found in the operated limb, albeit rather small, may also point to an integral strategy in the frontal plane reflecting a more cautious walking pattern.
Each parameter measured, including stride length, cadence, swing velocity, and stance duration, varied consistently with the walking speed of the mouse.

Temporal-spatial measures included time in stance, step length normalized to height [ 26], velocity prior to initial foot contact and walking velocity over 5 m.
Numerous postural and kinematic metrics of gait dynamics were determined by dissecting the time each limb is spent in various portions of the walking phase, including paw area, paw placement angle during stance, stride length, stepping frequency, and stance width, as described in detail in Table 1.
The two patients evaluated using gait analysis demonstrated slow gait, asymmetric stride length, increased double support and arrhythmic stance duration, and a reduced stance on the operated side (Table 4).
