There are authenticated reports of glowing, floating, stable balls of light several tens of centimetres in diameter occurring at times of intense electrical activity in the atmosphere.
It prevents an aggregation of particle-nanobatteries, and so they form a stable ball-shaped cloud with a density, slightly exceeding the air density (Fig. 3). For the external excitation case, bounded-input, bounded-output stability is achieved and a stable attractor (ball of ultimate boundedness) of the system is computed based on the upper bound of the disturbances.
Such a stable computational ball-like flame is not perfectly spherical.
One new feature was identified: mixtures capable of exhibiting both stable flame balls and steadily propagating flames depending on the initial condition.
"You have to hold your hands pretty stable through the ball," Puterbaugh said.
Make sure to keep the ball stable while you do your exercises.
The snap at the end of the throw is crucial to keeping the ball stable at high speeds, so if your pitches are wild or wobble in the air, focus on following through properly.
In summary, the present work considers a new configuration that allows the study of stable and stationary ball-like flames at ultra-lean and near-limit conditions, and advances the understanding of such flames via detailed numerical computations.

The appearance of this clue in Chromium offers no insight into when it'll make it to the desktop in a usable, stable form, but the ball is now clearly rolling.
