During the atomization process two pressure stages can be distinguished: transition time (pressurization time) and stabilized stage (setting pressure).
The results showed consistent trends: (1) the CTE at the time of setting is about twice as high as the CTE in the stabilized stage and (2) after the CTE's initial sudden drop, it starts to slightly increase for a certain period of time and then stabilizes.
With increase of applied load in each beam, the internal force flow experiences three different stages; uncracked stage, transient stage and stabilized stage as illustrated in Fig. 12.
This confirms the fact that both the arch and the beam action are the essential mechanisms in resisting the applied load in stabilized stage up to failure.
In contrast, the ratio of BOD5/COD of 0.205 for Kulim Landfill indicates that the leachate is in the young condition and not in the stabilized stage.
Lower ratio of BOD5/COD for Pulau Burung Landfill shows that the leachate is in the stabilized stage and difficult to be degraded further biologically (Aziz et al. 2010).

The drainage rate is divided into three stages: increasing stage, dropping stage and stabilizing stage.
It was also observed that during the cycle stabilizing stage, the capacity gradually increases for next following cycles which can be attributed to the increased lithiation into new active sites of the electrode as electrolyte wettability (i.e., electrolyte activating new open sites of the electrodes and also impregnating into deeper electrode core) gets improved with extended cycling.
By checking the profile of the three curves, they differ from each other: The curve of GLR 2 1 climbs faster than the other two curves; additionally, it receives the most significant rise and in the end fluctuates around 95 which exceeds much more than that in the curves of GLR 1 1 and GLR 3 1, simultaneously, during the stabilize stage, the curve of GLR 3 1 slumps sometimes.
The model, which is based on the assumptions of linear elastic σ-ε laws for both types of bars, as well as for the concrete, and on the bond law proposed in fib Model Code 2010, is used to study both the crack formation stage and the stabilized cracking stage considering the effect of internal secondary cracks.
Through the assumption of a linear strain shape function governing the reinforcement strains in the stabilized cracking stage, the method enables the prediction of the mean crack spacing from the stress transfer approach.
