We also note that the viability of CRF1-R mice on C57Bl/6 background was very poor; heterozygote crosses produced significantly fewer homozygous CRF1-R male mice than predicted (p<0.05, chi square, data not shown).
The shape of the aggregate at the end of this period was roughly square (data not shown), but no signs of hysteresis as a result of the square shape were observed.
Also in this case, we find that the obtained parameter estimates have the same type of correlations as those obtained with an ordinary least squares fit (data not shown).
The genotype distribution was in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium in controls, with a non-significant chi square value (data not shown).
Subsequently, significantly more participants randomized to 3D or 3Dr felt that they could present their knowledge about the CS (question #15) without or with minor uncertainty to other students (2D+: 60.9%, 3D: 84.6%, 3Dr: 70.6%; p = 0.01, chi-square test; data not shown).
However, students randomized to 3D (94.2%) and 3Dr (90.2%) rated "fun" (question #12) significantly more often with "very much" or "much" when compared to 2D+ (56.6%; p < 0.01, chi-square test; data not shown).
The learning effect (question #14) was rated with "high" or "very high" significantly more often by students randomized to 3D (86.8%) and 3D + (76.5%) compared to 2D+ (50.9%; p < 0.01, chi-square test; data not shown).
We also found that pesticide exposure increased OGG1 gene expression (p = 0.04, chi-square test; data not shown), but other demographic factors such as education, occupation type, and consumption of meat, dairy, and freshwater seafood were not associated with OGG1 gene expression.
When asked whether the other imaging modality would be helpful (question #13), students randomized to 2D+ answered significantly more often with "yes" than those randomized to 3D or 3Dr (41% (2D+) vs. 21% (3D) vs. 17% (3Dr), p < 0.01, chi-square test; data not shown).
Matching of breastfed and formula fed children attenuated the breastfeeding effect compared with standard ordinary least squares (OLS) estimates (data not shown), consistent with assumptions that confounding could bias results.
