Whereas LV genome was consistently present at higher levels in the injected region, detectable vector copy number (VCN) was found in the contralateral hemisphere and occasionally in the Cb and SC (Fig. 3H), suggesting sporadic spreading of LV particles upon neonatal injection, possibly through diffusion and/or transport along white matter tracts.
