"split item" is not a grammatically correct or commonly used phrase in written English.
It is unclear what this phrase is meant to convey. It may be better to use more specific or descriptive language in a sentence to convey a clear meaning. For example: - "The item was split into two parts." - "The splitting of the item was unexpected." - "The item was divided into smaller pieces." - "The item was broken into fragments." - "The item was separated into distinct categories." In these sentences, the word "split" is used as a verb to describe an action, rather than a noun as in "split item."
