We introduce an adapted parallelization strategy called split, distribute and merge (SDM) strategy which allows efficient parallelization of a large class of topological operators.
This approach, referred to as source-split distributed transform coding (SP-DTC), can be used to easily implement two terminal transform codes for any given rate-pair.
We therefore consider the design of SP-DTCs based on the DCT, referred to as source-split distributed DCT (SP-DDCT) codes.
We have also presented a new parallelization strategy called SDM (Split Distribute and Merge).
We present also a new parallelization strategy, called Split Distribute and Merge (SD&M).
In practice, most effective parallel algorithm design might make use of multiple algorithm structures thus proposed strategy is a combination of the divide and conquer pattern and event-based coordination pattern, see Figure 2. Hence the name that we have assigned: SD&M (Split Distribute and Merge) strategy.
In experiment 1, seniors were divided into 2 sub-groups according to their score for odor "semantic associations" (from 0 to 20: see above) using a median split procedure (given that 30 subjects were in that particular group, the median split procedure distributed the seniors into 2 groups of 15).
Scholarships are typically split and distributed to a handful, or even, say, 20, athletes because most institutions do not fully finance the so-called nonrevenue sports like soccer, baseball, golf, lacrosse, volleyball, softball, swimming, and track and field.
In this paper, we split a distributed sampling and reconstruction system into a family of overlapping smaller subsystems, and we show that the stability of the sensing matrix holds if and only if its quasi-restrictions to those subsystems have uniform stability.
With respect to the probes that were recognized as a toposite by ACME, the likelihood of being toposite was split and distributed evenly to every nucleotide across the probe.
