In "Anne Truitt: Perception and Reflection," a splendid retrospective at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, her sculptures resonate poetically on multiple levels.
I then co-edited The American Game: Baseball and Ethnicity (Southern Illinois U. Press, 2002) and edited Ted Williams: Reflections on a Splendid Life(Northeastern U. Press, 2003).
