Install the spider gears.
Set the retaining pin into the hole and thread it a short distance to hold the spider gears in place.
This will allow you to roll the spider gears out of the carrier, and to remove the axle-end gears.
If the wrist pin is pushed too far out, the spider gears may drop out of the carriers.
Once they are in place, you will need to hold the carrier in a level position while installing the spider gears and shims.
When the spider gears rotate so they are aligned with the holes in the carrier, you can reinstall the wrist pin.
