In my experience, organizations that are able to use speed as differentiation are most likely to meet or exceed both internal and external customer expectations.
Bone tissue engineering and regenerative therapies rely on speeding tissue differentiation and controlling morphology by targeting miRNA, introducing genes and recombinant proteins and modulating developmental signaling pathways.
Our study reports an original dual effect of dasatinib on MSC at non toxic concentrations: (i) it is able to significantly speed up the osteogenic differentiation of MSC, and (ii) it can inhibit RANKL expression in undifferentiated MSC (no DAG induction) thus preventing osteoclast activation.
