In the resected specimen, a type 0-IIa + IIc lesion measuring 25 × 10 mm was macroscopically observed in the esophagogastric junction.

Fossil remains are often difficult to interpret, especially when only a few fragmentary specimens of a type have been found.
The site of Bat Cave in western New Mexico has produced specimens of a type of primitive corn that is also known from the Flacco phase in Tamaulipas at 2000 bc but that is here in association with a Chiricahua assemblage from which materials have been dated at about 1000 bc.

The patient underwent low anterior resection of the rectum, and the resected specimen was a type 2 tumor of the rectum (Fig. 1b).
