Many previous reports describe the pattern of injuries specific to motorcycle crash victims and the vulnerability of head and lower limbs [ 11, 12, 15, 17, 22, 23, 31, 35], often in combination [ 25].
Going beyond the specific issue of motorcycle training, these findings reveal a shortage of empirical data about riding behaviour in general (for details see [30]).
Yet we feel that it is important, even necessary, to have a specific model for motorcycle riding in order to improve initial training.
