Clade 4 includes two Pseudopythina and two Peregrinamor species that attach directly onto the body surface of upogebid shrimps, mantis shrimps, or intertidal crabs [ 12, 19].
Known parasites of this species include the nematode Huffmanela lata and several copepod species that attach to the sharks' skin, and juvenile stages of the isopods Gnathia trimaculata and G. grandilaris that attach to the gill filaments and septa (the dividers between each gill).
If long internal branches are detected, one should try to find species that probably attach to these.
