Impasse of the Angels: Scenes from a Moroccan Space of Memory.
First, it can function as, what I term, a "communal space" of memory, communion, or personal/political mourning.
Yet, equally, freedom exists in the space of memory, and at a certain point we all need to advance back into that shadow in order to be liberated.
In Argentina the government of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner has opened a "Space of Memory and Human Rights" in what was the Navy Mechanical Institute, the most notorious of the torture centres under the 1976-83 dictatorship.
We can observe that often a huge amount of data is exchanged by medium/low bandwidth networks or yet, they need to be stored on devices with limited space of memory.

This approach allows to obtain power consumption estimates, memory footprint and memory access values to refine the dynamic memory management of the system in an early stage of the design flow and to easily explore the large search space of memory manager implementations.
Her design was controversial when first proposed but changed our notions of how to produce a meaningful space of memory and mourning that works both for those with personal losses to remember others for whom those losses are a distanced and more public historical event.
