"something shitty" is correct and usable in written English as a descriptor for something unpleasant, undesirable, or of poor quality
It is a colloquial term and should be used cautiously in formal writing. Example: "I had a terrible day at work today. My boss gave me something shitty to work on and it took me hours to complete."
