If something I own looks the same as one you could pick up at the store, it's because I just bought it that day.
That means if I pay someone good money for something, I own it.
Very rarely do I recommend something I own or benefit from; if I do it's because I know it will serve the subject we are discussing and the other person's goals or objectives.
