I don't know exactly what makes somebody ready to be President.
Over the years Duncan, Parker and Ginobili have each been sidelined for extended periods — not to mention the significant reduction in minutes for both Duncan and Ginobili — but the Spurs always seem to have somebody ready to take on a larger role.
Be it a bartender, a waitress or the guy grinning on the next stool over, there is always somebody ready to give advice (this is New York, after all), hoping to bring another drinker into the figurative folds of the Scotch-lover's collective kilt.
Normally when these things happen people have got somebody ready to step in.
