These are claimed to be cost-effective drugs especially in high risk patients, and especially on the ground of reduced co-prescription of gastro-protective agents (GPAs), as some cost-effectiveness analyses stated [ 6- 9] and pharmaceutical companies proposed [ 10] (especially considering patients at high risk of gastrointestinal bleeding).
