The method was based on the rapid extraction of betulinic acid from a methanol solution of sample into 67 μL chloroform, as an extraction solvent.
The samples for TEM, HAADF-STEM, and STEM-EDS were collected by placing a drop of dilute solution of sample in hexane onto carbon-film-supported nickel grids.
