Several companies have since become Hollywood players in the conversion business, and when Mr. Cameron and his team decided to move ahead with "Titanic," they solicited tests from seven different vendors from around the world, giving each of them the same shots to convert.

But take a look at communities like Giffgaff or Quirky and one can see the de-risking process at work, as these firms solicit and test ideas with their communities, which are explicitly rewarded for contributions.
One possible reason is that the course was marketed as a beta-test soliciting feedback rather than as a formal curriculum.
While most preferred to know that they were being tested and to receive negative results, our findings suggest that patients believed that ensuring universal testing for HCV was more important than either soliciting patient consent for the test or providing negative test results.
